The initial stage of the project is
conducted by Henryk Skololowski and his crew, under direct and daily supervision of Marek
Kaminski.
Trees
that were in danger of falling on the graves were cut. The entire grounds were
manually tilled and grade and grass was sown.

and regular grass cutting will be required to maintain the cemetery in respectable
shape.

Summary
As
previously mentioned, every year, under daily supervision of Antoni Dudo the weeds were
removed from the entire cemetery. First they were cut by hand, then sprayed with
herbicides.
Despite our repeated efforts the weeds were back the every year as if nothing was done.
Finally, in 2007 important progress was made. Thanks to three (2004, 2005, 2006)
consecutive significant contributions from L. Foundation (it wishes to remain
anonymous) we
were able to save enough to plan and execute a major work project which included:
Removal of all weeds
Cutting
multiple trees that were in danger of falling on the graves
Restoration
of the original topography of the grounds (when the houses were built along the N-W
side of the cemetery some the fill was dumped on the cemetery grounds)
Manual
tilling and grading of the cemetery grounds
Sowing
grass
Periodically
cutting the grass and spraying the remaining weeds with herbicides
Re-sowing
grass if needed
Presently,
grass prevents the regrowth of weeds. Therefore, from now on only occasional spraying with
herbicides and regular grass cutting will be required to maintain the cemetery in
respectable shape. You are invited to review the detailed report of the project

We
hereby wish to express our deepest gratitude to L. Foundation whose invaluable
support has made this project possible. |
